Everything mom knows.

Freshman year problems get solved and then replaced. The dorm becomes an apartment with a lease and a landlord who doesn’t return calls. Roommates become coworkers. Twenty guides for the whole stretch, from move-in week to the first place with their name on the utility bill.

So the pages are named for the moment, not the subject. When the check engine light comes on and the internet says it’s either nothing or four thousand dollars. When they have to cook something that didn’t come out of a box. When the bathroom reaches a point where moving sounds easier than cleaning. When they’re supposed to follow up after an interview and every draft they write sounds desperate.

And a lot of it is the stuff you do without thinking, which is exactly why it never got taught. How long leftovers actually last. What to do when the toilet won’t stop running. How to talk to someone whose politics make your jaw tighten. You know all of it. Nobody ever made you explain it.

This is the Freshman Bundle plus eleven more guides for the part after.

Three guides are live now. The rest publish between August 2026 and January 2027, and they land in your account as they go, because you’ve already paid for them.

College Classes

They get the college experience you wish you’d had. One where they build real relationships with mentors, learn that failing a test is where the growth is instead of where it ends, and still have fun doing it. First year becomes the foundation for the next four, so they actually get what the tuition is paying for.

Personal Safety

They go out, say yes to things, and have the year they came for. They also learn to read a situation, trust the feeling that says leave, and get themselves home. Freedom is only worth much if they can hang onto their own judgment inside it.

  • Being followed
  • Somewhere drugs come out and want an exit
  • Call a rideshare
  • Don’t know the person at the door
  • Drink anything in public (even water)

Cleaning

A clean place stops being something that only happens when company’s coming. They learn to keep it from getting bad instead of digging out after it does, which is far less work. It also turns out to be a quick way to feel less behind on everything else.

Coming late October 2026

Cooking

They eat food that didn’t come out of a bag, without it becoming a production. A few meals they can make without looking anything up, and enough range to feed somebody else. Cooking for yourself is a plain way to take care of yourself, and it costs less than the alternatives.

Coming mid November 2026

Dating

They date from a place of knowing what they’re worth and what they’re looking for. They learn what a good partnership feels like, how to walk away from one that isn’t, and how to end it without leaving damage behind. That’s the practice that shapes who they eventually choose.

Coming late September 2026

First Aid

They know what to do in the ten minutes before help arrives, and they know which situations don’t need help at all. Burns, cuts, allergic reactions, someone who isn’t breathing right. Panic is mostly what fills the gap when you don’t know the next step.

Coming late September 2026

Housing

They sign a lease knowing what’s in it. How to look at a place, what to ask, what a deposit is actually for, and how to get it back. First apartments teach people expensive lessons, and this is the version where the lesson is free.

Coming mid December 2027

Kitchen Basics

They can walk into a kitchen and use it. Knives, heat, which pan for what, and what’s still good in the fridge. This is the guide that makes the cooking one possible.

Coming early November 2026

Laundry

They stop being the kid who calls home about a machine and start being the person who just handles it. Small competence adds up into the belief they can figure things out. That belief is what they’ll reach for when the problem is bigger than a red sock.

Coming late August 2026

Life Admin

Adulthood stops feeling like a thing being done to them. Appointments, paperwork, forms nobody explained: they handle it, and the competence carries into everything else. This is the guide that quietly turns a kid into an adult.

Coming mid September 2026

Mental Health

They learn early what took a lot of us decades. That a hard stretch isn’t a character flaw, that asking for help is a normal thing capable people do, and that their own mind is something they can work with instead of just endure. They don’t spend their twenties white-knuckling it in silence.

Coming mid August 2026

Money

They learn how money actually works while the stakes are still small. No shame about it, no avoidance, no discovering at thirty what a credit card really costs. They graduate with habits most people spend years unlearning.

Coming early September 2026

People Skills

They can talk to anyone. The professor, the landlord, the coworker who’s twenty years older, the person whose politics make their jaw tighten. They pick up the rest too: thank you notes, RSVPs, what to bring when somebody feeds you, how to host without it becoming a three-day event. The fork thing barely matters. Making people comfortable does, and being easy to be around opens doors that grades don’t.

Coming mid January 2027

Physical Health

They take care of a body they’re suddenly in charge of. Sleep, getting sick, when to see somebody, what to do when they can’t tell if it’s serious. There’s no one there checking whether they slept, so they learn to check themselves.

Coming mid October 2026

Repairs & Maintenance

The apartment stops being a mystery box. A running toilet, a tripped breaker, a smoke detector chirping at 2am: they handle it, or they know it’s the landlord’s job and how to say so. Fixing a small thing early is how it stays small.

Coming early January 2027

Tech Safety

Their online life doesn’t cost them the one they’re building. They learn to protect their accounts, their privacy, and their reputation, and they know what to do if something already went wrong. No panic, no shame, just the next right step.

Coming early October 2026

Transportation

They get where they’re going without it becoming a whole thing. Public transportation, car trouble, a flat, insurance, the check engine light coming on two hundred miles from home. A car problem is only an emergency when you have no idea what happens next.

Coming early October 2026

Travel

They can book a trip for a great price and handle it when the flight gets cancelled and the airline is unhelpful about it. Packing, budgeting, and the parts that go sideways. The kid who can figure out a trip is the kid who says yes to things.

Coming early December 2026

Work

They start a job knowing how to be good at having one. Interviews, follow-ups, a boss they don’t click with, asking for more money without their voice shaking. None of this comes naturally. It’s learnable, and the usual way people learn it is slowly, by getting it wrong.
